PROGRAMS

Program Standards
Each Collaborative program:
bulletIs developed as a result of a planning process that includes consumer representatives, governance board members, partner organization CEOs, supervisors and direct service staff;
bulletIs planned and directed by a work group with members assigned by any interested partner organization;
bulletIs prevention and/or early intervention strategy;
bulletFocuses on solutions, rather than problems;
bulletWorks with families to identify and build on existing strengths;
bulletOffers support, information and skill-building to at-risk children/youth and their families;
bullet Serves the family at the location of their choosing, typically in their home, at times convenient to family members;
bulletIs offered without charge to families, though third party reimbursement is sought whenever possible.
To achieve their goals, the Collaborative has developed three programs which are staffed by employees of partner organizations that are hired and trained collaboratively to use the model and/or curriculum developed for each program.
