Caring Connections offers:

1.    Postpartum visits by a Public Health Nurse
for all first time families following hospital discharge

2.  Follow-up visits for all first time families 2-6 weeks
following the birth of a child by the same Public Health Nurse

3.  Five Month Visit to all first time parents

4.  Twelve Month Visit to all first time parents

5.  Health Tracks Newsletters for all families

6.  Ages and Stages Developmental Questionnaires for all families

7.  Early Childhood Screening soon after your child turns 3 years old.

Parents and children of all ages are encouraged to participate in classes through Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and if eligible, Head Start, which is offered in some communities in Otter Tail County.  Please call 1-800-450-2900 if you would like more information on the centers which are located nearest to you.
