Otter Tail County Public Health
Otter Tail County Public Health Nurses will be doing all the postpartum
visits. At that visit, they will help first time parents decide who will be their
on-going home visitor. In some cases, Public Health will provide all the
home visits.
Otter Tail County Public Health
has offices in Fergus Falls and New York Mills, and has nurses who live
throughout Otter Tail County.
Public Health provides
breast-feeding support; education on infant nutrition; postpartum care for Mom;
car seat safety and home safety; immunization and well-child care information;
typical growth and development; and information on community services and
resources.
